With Warmachine Hordes Mk3 dropping a few months ago there have been a handful of models in each faction that went from either bad or so so to pretty good. Grotesque Banshees were one of the units that I new I'd want to pick up. The Assassin solo really makes this unit though giving them blast immunity and stealth. I've also made very good use of the fact that he has grevious wounds on his swords. Cool model with lots of detail.

Malifaux: Lady Justice, The Judge, The Guild's Judgement
Had this starter set for a couple years now. I previously painted the three Death Marshals and the Scales of Justice models but never got around to finishing the Lady Justice and Judge models. Finally getting around to painting them and hopefully getting some more regular games in.

Legion of Everblight: Nyss Swordsmen and Archers
Over the last couple years Privateer Press has began introducing dual part kits for units that allow you to build either of the two options. Well, being the masochist that I am I decided to take on the challenge of magnetizing the arms belonging to both the swordsmen AND archers. This way I could play the unit as either.
I painted up both the Swordsmen and Archer UA as well in the process.
It wasn't easy and I had to take great care to make this work with such small magnets and small pieces. It ended up turning out pretty good considering.

I utilized a container and color coded it and the bottom of each miniature to keep track of the different set of arms for each one.
Here's some additional shots and closeups.

Star Wars: Imperial Assault 2
This has become one of my favorite board games. We've recently delved into the skirmish mode for this game after finishing the campaign and that's been very enjoyable as well. I may have spoiled myself for future board games incorporating miniatures though; I'm not sure I could ever go back to unpainted minis now. So here's rounding out the rest of the miniatures in the base game.

Stars Wars Imperial Assault: The Heroes
My wife and I have been enjoying Imperial Assault quite a bit lately. Having all the miniatures painted really adds to the enjoyment of the game and painting up Star Wars minis is a lot of fun.

Legion of Everblight: Blighbringer
While everyone and their mom has had this model and been playing the snot out of it for some time, it's taken me a bit longer to pick one up as well as finish painting it. Finally, at long last it is all done. It's a beautifully sculpted model and though it took me forever to finish it, I did enjoy watching it come together.

Star Wars: Imperial Assault
It's been quite awhile since my last post. Had to put some other things first for awhile. Felt like a change of pace to start things back up so I grabbed a few handfuls of the miniatures that come with the Star Wars board game Imperial Assault.
This was a quick and dirty job just to get a decent tabletop finish. I only spent maybe 6-7 hours from start to finish on the 17 miniatures. This is about half of the miniature included with the game. I'll get to the other half at some point but will probably move on to something else in the mean time. They look good enough I guess and will more than suffice for play.
